SEA OF TIME wins 10 International MIFF Awards

SEA OF TIME has been awarded with 10 AWARDS by the Milan International Film Festival. The jury spoke out about “the masterful screenplay” written by Marieke van der Pol (The Twins, Bride Flight, The Resistance Banker) for which she received a MIFF Award. The film is based on the true story of Lucie Hubert, who launched her book earlier this year.

Theu Boermans (1000 Rosen (Golden Calf for Best Film), The Partisans (Golden Calf for Best Television Drama), musical Soldier of Orange) directed the epic love drama in which Sallie Harmsen, Elsie de Brauw, Reinout Scholten van Aschat and Gijs Scholten van Aschat play the leading roles. “SEA OF TIME is beautifully acted, filmed, edited and directed in a rare harmony of all its parts,” said the jury from Milan.

SEA OF TIME wins a historic number of awards in all categories, including best film.
