SEA OF TIME opens Stony Brook Film Festival in the U.S.

The critically acclaimed film SEA OF TIME will see its U.S. debut at the annual Stony Brook Film Festival. The film will be shown on the opening night of the 28th edition of the international film festival in Stony Brook, New York on July 20th.

SEA OF TIME’s director Theu Boermans: “The Stony Brook Film Festival showcases a selection of new, independent, and highly engaging films. I’m very honored that our film has been chosen to open this year’s edition.”

Based on a true story, the film explores the ripple effect of earth-shattering grief, the passage of time, and lost love. SEA OF TIME saw its worldwide premiere as the opening film of the Netherlands Film Festival in 2022 and took home 10 awards at the prestigious Milan International Film Festival. SEA OF TIME is currently streaming on Netflix in The Netherlands.
