KRAZY HOUSE premieres at Sundance Film Festival

KRAZY HOUSE, the new film by Steffen & Flip, had its world premiere on January 20, 2024, at the Sundance Film Festival. The dark comedy, Starring Nick Frost, Alicia Silverstone, and Kevin Connolly, was selected for the legendary Midnight Selection. The Sundance Film Festival is the largest American festival for independent film and is globally recognized as one of the most important film festivals.

KRAZY HOUSE is Steffen Haars’ and Flip van der Kuil’s first English spoken, international project. The writer-director duo previously created successful films such as New Kids Turbo, Bro’s Before Ho’s, and Ron Goossens: Low-Budget Stuntman.

Steffen and Flip stated: “We still can’t believe we’ve been selected. Aside from the Euro Cinema in ‘s Hertogenbosch with New Kids Turbo, Sundance is definitely the most beautiful place to premiere our film.”

Producer Maarten Swart added: “Steffen and Flip are not only inspiring creators to work with, but they are also leading comedy authors who belong to the world’s top creators. With the Sundance selection, they and the film receive the well-deserved recognition for their boldness and talent.”

The Midnight Section in which the film will be showcased, is a category featuring the most creative and visually innovative films that typically provoke a reaction. Previous films that had their world premieres here include: The Blair Witch Project, Get Out, and Saw. The Sundance Film Festival took place in Park City, Utah, from January 18 to January 28, 2024.
